Guide Court Tour

TheSuperior Court of California, County of Glenn is pleased to be able to provide Guided Court Tours for schools and civic groups the opportunity to become familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Judicial Branch.

• Meet and talk to a judge.
• Become familiar with the inner working of the justice system.
• Observe court proceedings.
• Learn about the history of the Courthouse.
• Have a better understanding of the roles of the courts in local and federal government.
• Get a glimpse into areas not usually open to the public.

Scheduling a Guided Court Tour

Guided Court Tours are available for students (sixth grade and older) and other community members interested in learning more aboutSuperior Court of California, County of Glenn.

Reservations can be made by calling the Administrative Secretary at (530) 934-6382 or submit a written request by completing a registration form. Registration forms are available at the courthouse. We ask that you please book your tours in advance and if you have a special area of interest related to your curriculum, we will incorporate it into the tour, if possible.

Court Tour groups must be limited in size with an appropriate number of adult supervisors. Due to the comprehensiveness of the tour and limited Court resources, usually only one group can be scheduled each day.
