Previously, there were three courts in Glenn County: The Glenn County Superior Court, the South County Municipal Court, both located in the City of Willows, and North County Municipal Court located in the City of Orland. The Glenn County Courts were one of the first to unify in 1998 after the passing of SCA4 by the voters.
The Court’s case management system houses Limited Jurisdiction Criminal cases from 1995 to present. The Court unified onto a single database system that included civil cases, both Limited and General Jurisdiction in November 2002. Cases filed prior to this may be listed on the web index providing there has been activity in the case since November 2002. If there has been no activity since then, the cases may be researched by case name from the Court’s paper index.
