TheSuperior Court of California, County of Glenn has become aware of telephone scams by identity thieves targeting members of the public and, specifically, potential jurors. Individuals have been calling potential jurors, claiming to be court employees, and requesting social security numbers.

Court employees will never contact potential jurors via telephone and request such information. Do not give out such information over the phone to anyone who calls you claiming to be with the Court. If in doubt about providing any information, you may call our jury office at 934-6337.

Although no scams of this type have been reported in Glenn County, they have been reported in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as well as in other states
